Postcards
Dear blog,
It’s been another great week in the hills - lots more gardening, cooking, arting and practicing my Italian. On Tuesday I went to the shop to buy some eggs. I said: “Scusa, capisce l’ingelese?”, and I said it so well. The lady replied, “no. Per favore parla l’italiano”… I hadn’t prepared for that, so I panicked and started clucking. She got the memo: “Uova, sono lì”. I left the shop with a red face, half a dozen eggs and a broadened vocab. On my walk home I whispered to myself “uova, uova…”.
Anyway, here are some postcard pics from this week. Click to enlarge.

Inviting passageways.
The village square.
Date night.
Some buildings I liked the colours of.
A spooky gate and a pretty door.
And some new friends.
Hope you enjoyed :))
And you might be left wondering, what were those eggs for? I’m so glad you asked. Tomorrow I’m making tiramisu!
Until next time…
